               and T- Mobile
Location: Nationwide

Stappard Howes is one of the country’s leading providers of network infrastructure services to the mobile telecommunications industry, offering complete turnkey solutions, management and design. The company’s clients include O2, Vodafone and T-Mobile – some of the biggest names in modern telecommunications that rely on Stappard Howes for the establishment and management of broadcast sites across the UK.

As part of a long-term client relationship with Stappard Howes, Adien conducts ongoing assessments of proposed new mast sites for the business, to gain important information regarding the feasibility of proposed new masts. Baseline surveys carried out by Adien identify any potentially harmful or undesirable buried matter and have been a fundamental tool in the decision-making process of new site selection. These results also allow the company to judge whether there is suffi cient space available in order to plant the root foundations for proposed new mast installations.

Nigel Hollington, project manager of Stappard Howes said;

“Adien’s services ensure fast turnaround and prevent costly delays to ourselves and our clients. Saving almost three weeks during the planning procedure of site selection, Adien’s efficient work allows clients to accelerate the entire turnkey process saving them substantial time in completing their national networks.”

Using Adien’s system reduces time and cost for the client by doing away with the need to apply for a 28 day street opening notice – which would normally be required for this type of work. Adien’s technology solution also allows clients to receive information based on a large-scale area (18m3) compared to a conventional manual trial hole (1m3). With a seven day turnaround, Adien provides the mobile telecommunications industry with suffi cient and effective results that confi rm quickly the suitability of selected locations.
