We have recently invested 150k in 7 new leica TCRP 1205+ Total stations
These have the added benefit of having a much longer reflectorless range than previous models, now 400m from 100m on previous models. These units have faster and better lock capabilities which will enable a faster and more accurate product. The new leica equipment comes with the most advanced processing software available which will allow us to provide our clients with the most accurate data possible.

1 new Smart Rover GPS unit.
This is now all pole mounted so a back pack and base station are no longer required, this will eliminate the 3hr setup time for the base station and will make any site more accessible. No processing time needed and all corrections are now instantaneous.  All the above points allow us to provide a quicker and more accurate survey and allow us access to the most inaccessible areas.

50k on new Radiodetection equipment.
We are replacing all our current Radiodetection 4000 equipment with the new and up to date RD8000 PDL models. Compared to the old equipment, the 8000 PDL’s offer more usable frequencies which will prevent bleeding of signal, reducing the risk of misidentification.  As the new equipment has more frequencies we can now integrate it with the rigid equipment we currently use. This will give us the most advanced and up to date detection technology, with more features than ever before, again, with these new additions a faster and more accurate survey can be facilitated.

Three Brand New Bespoke Vans
We currently have 3 new survey vehicles being custom built for ourselves by MWS specialists. These are the most up to date and user friendly vehicles on the road. As with our other vehicles the new vans will have onboard generators with IT systems, full welfare facilities and storage for every piece of equipment at our disposal. The set up on these vans allows us to work in any environment for prolonged periods of time ensuring no job is too big or too small and providing basic resources are their, our teams can maintain a site presence indefinitely.
